Blue Ridge Mountains Sunset Engagement | Natalie & Jacob

Jacob and Natalie were SO much fun to photograph during their golden hour engagement session in the Blue Ridge Mountains! This was by far one of my favorite sessions to date! I arrived early to hike and scope out the perfect spot for photos. Hiking up was a task while carrying all of my gear and I definitely broke a sweat but, it was totally worth it (per usual). When I got to the top I immediately started crying. I was completely overtaken by the beauty of what I was seeing. 360 degree views of mountains with varying blue hues and clear blue skies with an orange sunset glow. Basically what photographer dreams are made of. Pinch me!

Natalie and Jacob were running a little behind schedule because of a road closure on the parkway and they drove over 3 hours for this session! But, it actually worked out perfectly because the sky got even more of a glow as it got later in the evening! Just when i thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. We had surprise guest….COWS! I will take photos of at least one animal at every session. Animals > ____.

They finished off the session with kisses, laughs, and piggyback rides with a full moon in the sky. We all had a blast and I am beyond ecstatic for these two beautiful humans to elope!
